We understand that you entrust us with private financial information to help us match you with a bank, mortgage broker or loan broker (we refer to all of these as "Financial Institutions") who can satisfy your particular needs. We give you our commitment to treat your information with respect. We protect your privacy as we would our own. Under no circumstances will Modernlend sell or share any personal information about you to or with any person or organization except: as authorized by you, to Financial Institutions or other parties involved in your transaction, or as may be required by law or court order. Who Are We:
Modernlend is in the business of marketing loan applications and filtering loan applications for consideration by lenders.

Information We Collect:
There are several ways Modernlend collects your personal and non-personal information. WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SELL OR SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE, EXCEPT AS AUTHORIZED BY YOU, TO PARTICIPATING FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS, OTHER PARTIES WHO MAY BE INVOLVED IN YOUR TRANSACTION OR AS MAY BE REQUIRED BY LAW.

VISITOR INFORMATION: The following information is stored and maintained for every visitor to this site, regardless of of whether or not an application is submitted for a loan:
• The name of the internet domain you use to access the site and the originating internet provider address;
• The type of operating system and browser used to access the site;
• The date and time the site is accessed;
• The pages visited; and,
• The URL of the referring page.

LOAN REQUESTS:
When an application is completed, personal and financial information, such as name, phone number, Social Security number, e-mail address, may be required.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FOR YOUR LENDER REQUEST:
When an application is completed, it may be necessary for us to obtain supplemental information from you which originates from third party sources Technical information we collect. In order for us to make certain we are providing the exemplary consumer experience everyone expects from the Modernlend Web site, we collect and track certain user information.

Survey Information. Modernlend takes great pride in its service. In order to keep our service at its very best, we may ask you to complete a survey or evaluation relating to our services or the services of the participating financial institutions. Some surveys or evaluations will ask for personal information; however, it is entirely up to you whether or not you complete the survey or evaluation.

Information from the "Contact Us" section of a Modernlend Web site. If you contact Modernlend through the "Contact Us" feature, it is your choice whether or not you wish to disclose your personal information to us.

How your information is used. We use the information you provide on your application to match you with up to participating financial institutions. We may also send your information to other third parties relevant to your transaction. Modernlend may also share certain collected data with our financial institutions and other third parties for general marketing and demographic purposes; however, this data DOES NOT include any of your personal identifying information.

Sharing information with our participating financial institutions. At your direction (when you click on the "Submit" button), the information that you provide to us on your application will be filtered through the Modernlend system and matched to participating financial institutions who offer the types of loan need you identify. By completing the application, you authorize Modernlend to match your needs to participating financial institutions who offer the type of loan you are seeking. No credit check will be performed on behalf of Modernlend. As our financial institutions may keep and use your information whether or not you qualify for a loan with them or use their services, we recommend that you contact them directly for more information about their specific privacy policies.

You will initially be matched with four financial institutions who offer the type of loan products you are seeking. Only after you select a financial institution to receive your application will it be transmitted by Modernlend.

Altering Information You Submit Through a Modernlend Web Site. Modernlend puts you in control of your experience on our Web sites. You'll find our sites easy to navigate to find all the information you need to complete your transaction.

• Changing your information. You may be able to review and change personal information in an active loan or realty request that you completed through Modernlend online. If you are unable to complete this online, you may contact our Customer Care Department for assistance.
• Deleting your information. Federal and state regulations require that we store completed loan and real estate requests for various periods of time. In order to comply with these regulations, we cannot delete information from our databases. More details…
• Request to stop receiving emails from us. Periodically, Modernlend may send you emails to alert you to money saving tips or special offers. If you do not wish to receive any of these offers, please visit our subscription area where you can remove yourself from our mailing list.
• Security. Modernlend sites have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Please visit our Security page for a detailed explanation.

How Our Policy is Monitored.

MODERNLEND Security Policy

Security
Your personal information is safe with Monderlend. We have implemented state-of-the-art measures to make sure that the information you send to us is seen only by authorized people.

Secure Web Pages
All of the pages on our web site that ask for your personal financial information are delivered to your browser through HTTPS, a secure server communications layer. You can check this encryption by checking for the key (Netscape) or lock (Internet Explorer) icon on your browser. If your browser’s security feature has been turned on, a pop up box will notify you when you enter a secure page.

Encryption
When you send your personal financial information to us, it is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Technology. SSL does not allow anyone to intercept and read your personal information. When you send your information to us, SSL encrypts it (translates the data into a string of gibberish characters). Only we can decode the encryption.

Firewall Protection
Your financial information is not kept on our web server, but on a different computer that is separated from the Internet. Even in the unlikely event that our web site is "hacked," your data will still remain securely out of reach.

Password Protection
To retrieve information about your loan status, you are required to enter both a password and your username.
